Chip Craig

Chip Craig, owner and founder of GreyBeard Realty, as well as GreyBeard Rentals, which has been managing vacation rentals since 1999 and currently manages 260 short-term rentals.

Chip received a BA from Davidson College and earned a Masters of Management (MBA) from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business.

He previously served as director of marketing at the North Carolina Outward Bound School and brings more than six years of commercial and consumer banking experience to the company.

Chip's commitment to the community is extensive. He currently serves as a member of the following boards. Black Mountain Swannanoa Valley Endowment Fund, Buncombe County United Way, and Buncombe County Sports Commission. Chip previously served as a board member on the Buncombe County Tourism and Development Authority, the Buncombe County Board of Education representing the Owen District for 8 years, and as a town commissioner for the Town of Montreat.

When not in the office, Chip enjoys spending time with his family and in the outdoors trail running, skiing, and kiteboarding.
