Rodrigo Afanador

In 2012, Rodrigo Afanador embarked on his real estate career and subsequently established Asheville Cash Buyers. Over the years, he has been involved in over 300 transactions in the Asheville region, earning a well-established reputation for success. He particularly likes tackling intricate real estate challenges to help his clients.

Besides his business pursuits, Rodrigo is an enthusiastic volunteer in his community. He previously served as the President of Carolina Real Estate Investors Association (CREIA), a non-profit organization dedicated to educating real estate \investors. Currently, he sits on the board of Homeward Bound, an organization committed to ending homelessness in Asheville.

Rodrigo is happily married and has two tornadoes of chaos that always keep things interesting! When not working, Rodrigo takes full advantage of living in Asheville by spending time on local trails running, biking or hiking. As his sons grow, he is doing his best to impart his love for the outdoors and real estate to both of them. Rodrigo believes that outdoor adventure and business have many overlaps.

Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Rodrigo now calls Asheville home. With travel experience in over twenty countries and thirty-five states, Rodrigo has held various positions, such as a tutor, server, raft guide, legal assistant, and line cook. These roles have equipped him with the ability to connect with individuals from different backgrounds, regardless of their walk of life. He believes in the power of community and is always excited to be part of groups that focus on personal and professional growth.
